What you probably don’t realize about the French Quarter is how easy it is to live here. If you come for a visit, you’ll never even know that it’s a geniune neighborhood.Within these twenty blocks, there are hundreds of actual residences, hidden behind closed shutters, garage doors, iron gates and other forms of distraction, real people live here – not just Brad Pitt and What’s-Her-Name and other millionaires and writers and artists.

Cotton Mill #381 – Guest

We loved our stay at the Cotton Mill during our months in New Orleans. The apartment was clean, bright and well supplied as well as being very central. It was a five minute walk to some of the biggest Mardi Gras parades and we could walk to the French Quarter very easily. Cotton Mill #342 – Guest

What a lovely spot! The photos on the internet of Cotton Mills #342 do not do this condo justice. Such character, both at the complex and in New Orleans. I feel like this was our home away from home. The pool was fantastic. My son loved the loft area and called it his clubhouse. Lots of little extras and supplies were a nice touch, and I made several gourmet meals and even BBQed. Very friendly staff here who were quick to offer help, directions, and even lend pool toys. This trip made us wish we lived here, and it will definitely not be our last winter in NOLA!
